R6 Marketplace FAQ

What is the R6 Marketplace?

The R6 Marketplace is Ubisoft’s official trading platform for Rainbow Six Siege, where players can buy, sell, and trade in-game cosmetic items like weapon skins, charms, uniforms, and headgear using R6 Credits. Launched with the Siege X update in June 2025, the marketplace allows players to exchange unwanted items for credits or purchase rare skins from previous seasons.

The R6 Marketplace works through an order book system. When you want to buy an item, you create a purchase order with your maximum price, and the marketplace automatically matches you with the lowest-priced seller. When selling, you list your item at your desired price and wait for a buyer. Once a match is found, the transaction completes automatically, with the seller receiving R6 Credits minus a 10% transaction fee.

To access the R6 Marketplace, you need to meet the eligibility requirements (level 25 and 2FA enabled), then visit the official marketplace through Ubisoft Connect on your web browser or access it in-game through the Shop tab. You can also access it at the official Ubisoft marketplace website by logging in with your Ubisoft account credentials.

To get on the R6 Marketplace, ensure you’ve reached clearance level 25 in Rainbow Six Siege and have enabled Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Ubisoft account. After meeting these requirements, you can access the marketplace through Ubisoft Connect’s web portal or through the in-game menu under the “Shop” section.

You can get to the R6 Marketplace by visiting Ubisoft Connect on your web browser and navigating to the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace section, or by launching Rainbow Six Siege and accessing the marketplace through the in-game Shop tab. Make sure you’re logged in with a level 25+ account that has 2FA enabled.

The R6 Marketplace is located on Ubisoft Connect’s web platform and can also be accessed in-game through Rainbow Six Siege’s Shop menu. On the web, visit the official Ubisoft website and navigate to Rainbow Six Siege > Marketplace. In-game, look for the “Marketplace” option under the Shop tab in the main menu.

The R6 Marketplace requirements are: (1) Clearance level 25 or higher in Rainbow Six Siege, (2) Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on your Ubisoft account, and (3) You must have played a recent match that grants XP to verify eligibility. Additionally, your account must be in good standing with no active sanctions or bans.

If you’re below level 25, the time until you can use R6 Marketplace depends on how quickly you gain XP through matches. On average, reaching level 25 takes approximately 15-25 hours of gameplay. Once you reach level 25 and enable 2FA, you can access the marketplace immediately after playing one match that grants XP.

There’s no separate sign-up process for the R6 Marketplace. Once you meet the requirements (level 25 and 2FA enabled), the marketplace automatically becomes accessible through your existing Ubisoft account. Simply log in to Ubisoft Connect or access the marketplace in-game, and you’ll be able to start trading immediately.

Registration for the R6 Marketplace happens automatically once you meet the eligibility criteria. Ensure your Rainbow Six Siege account is level 25 or higher, enable 2FA on your Ubisoft account, and play a recent match. The marketplace will then be available without any additional registration steps required.

To set up R6 Marketplace access: (1) Reach level 25 in Rainbow Six Siege by playing matches, (2) Enable Two-Factor Authentication on your Ubisoft account through account security settings, (3) Play at least one match that grants XP, (4) Visit Ubisoft Connect or the in-game marketplace to start trading. No additional setup is needed.

Getting into the R6 Marketplace requires meeting the minimum level 25 requirement and enabling 2FA on your Ubisoft account. Once these conditions are met, simply navigate to the marketplace through Ubisoft Connect’s website or through the in-game Shop menu. Your account will be automatically verified for marketplace access.

You can enter the R6 Marketplace by logging into Ubisoft Connect on your browser and selecting the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace option, or by launching the game and accessing it through the Shop > Marketplace section. Ensure you meet the level 25 and 2FA requirements before attempting to enter.

To unlock the R6 Marketplace, you need to reach clearance level 25 in Rainbow Six Siege and enable Two-Factor Authentication on your Ubisoft account. After enabling 2FA, play one match that awards XP to activate your marketplace access. Once unlocked, the marketplace remains permanently accessible as long as your account stays in good standing.

R6 Marketplace activation is automatic once you meet the requirements. First, level your account to 25, then enable 2FA in your Ubisoft account security settings. Finally, complete one match that grants experience points. The marketplace will activate immediately and appear in both Ubisoft Connect and your in-game menu.

The R6 Marketplace doesn’t require a separate acceptance process. Access is granted automatically when you reach level 25 and enable 2FA. If you previously participated in the beta, acceptance was handled through waves, but the full release provides instant access to all eligible players without waiting for acceptance.

To gain access to the R6 Marketplace, ensure your account meets three criteria: (1) Rainbow Six Siege clearance level 25 or higher, (2) Two-Factor Authentication enabled, and (3) Recent gameplay activity (at least one XP-granting match). Access is granted automatically upon meeting these requirements.

With the full marketplace release, there’s no waiting period for acceptance. Once you meet the level 25 and 2FA requirements, access is immediate after playing one XP-granting match. During the beta phase, acceptance could take days or weeks, but this no longer applies to the current version.

You will get access to the R6 Marketplace as soon as you reach level 25, enable Two-Factor Authentication on your Ubisoft account, and complete at least one match that grants experience points. Access is granted automatically without any waiting period or manual approval process.

Verification for the R6 Marketplace happens automatically through your Ubisoft account. Enable 2FA to verify your account security, reach level 25 to verify your player experience, and play a recent match to verify account activity. Activating 2FA for the R6 Marketplace requires going to your Ubisoft account settings. Navigate to the Security section, click “Two-Factor Authentication,” and select either an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) or email verification. Complete the setup process, verify your device, and your 2FA will be activated for marketplace use.

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) on R6 Marketplace is a security feature that requires two forms of verification when accessing the marketplace: your password and a time-sensitive code from an authenticator app or email. This prevents unauthorized access to your account and protects your R6 Credits and items from theft.

2FA is required for the R6 Marketplace to protect your account from unauthorized access and fraudulent transactions. Since the marketplace involves real currency (R6 Credits) and valuable in-game items, Ubisoft mandates this extra security layer to prevent account theft, unauthorized purchases, and ensure only legitimate account owners can trade items.

Inability to buy anything on the R6 Marketplace typically means: (1) Zero R6 Credits balance (purchase credits), (2) Account restrictions (sanctions or verification issues), (3) System-wide marketplace outage, (4) Browser/connectivity problems, (5) Account below level 25 or missing 2FA. Start by checking credits balance and account status.

Yes, the R6 Marketplace is accessible on console platforms, but you must access it through a web browser on Ubisoft Connect rather than directly in-game on console. PlayStation (PS4/PS5) and Xbox users can use the marketplace by visiting the Ubisoft Connect website on their computer or mobile device and logging in with their console-linked Ubisoft account.

To get R6 Marketplace access on Xbox: (1) Ensure your Xbox account is linked to Ubisoft Connect, (2) Reach level 25 in Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox, (3) Enable 2FA on your Ubisoft account, (4) Access the marketplace via Ubisoft Connect’s website (browser-based), (5) All purchases and sales will sync with your Xbox account automatically.

To use the R6 Marketplace on console, access it through Ubisoft Connect’s web platform since there’s no in-console marketplace interface currently. Use your computer or mobile browser to visit the site, log in with your console-linked Ubisoft account, perform transactions, and your items/credits will synchronize with your console game automatically.

The R6 Marketplace doesn’t have a daily “reset” in the traditional sense, but transaction limits reset on a rolling 24-hour basis from when you made your first transaction. For example, if you completed your 20th purchase at 3 PM, you can make another purchase at 3 PM the next day. Orders expire after 30 days if not fulfilled.
